CAKES

Pricing & Serving Details

As each order is custom made, quotations will be based upon a cakes size and the intricacy of decorative detail.

As our standard cake height starts from 5" tall.

We offer double barrel cakes, which are extremely tall cakes of the same size, instead of two tier cakes of different sizes.

Elements like sugar paste flowers, figurines, other handmade sugar details, custom painting, edible images, logos and more can affect the price of the cake. The price always reflects the amount of time it takes to put such elements together, and the high prices of these special ingredients.

3D, shaped and structured cakes are also a little more expensive due to the amount of work we have to put not only outside the cake but also inside, with the internal structure required to bring it to life!

Please see our starting price guideline, sizes and portion servings below.

Cake serving sizes are estimated. Speciality cakes, carved cakes and method of slicing may affect the total serving number. You may ask for a cake slicing guideline.

Our fondant covered cakes are from 5" tall.

Our Buttercream cakes are from 5-6" tall.

Want a taller cake?

Do you only need two tiers of cake to feed your guests, although your dream cake is a three or more tier cake?  Don’t Fret! We can add tiers made from Styrofoam and decorated just like we would an edible cake.  Your guests will never know, and you will have the cake you always dreamt of.

Cake Stands

We have many beautiful and unique cake stands, cupcake stands and props for hire.  A bond is required, and will be fully refunded should the hired goods be returned in the same condition.

How do I pay for my order?

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order. Bank details are provided on your quote/order.   The balance is required before or on collection of your order. If you are using our delivery service, balance is required at least 3 days prior to the delivery of your cake.

Payments can be made either by direct deposit or cash.

Delivery

Customers are welcome to collect cakes themselves from our studio in Bentleigh East.   Cakes will be packed and safe for transportation.

Should you wish your cake to be delivered, please state your postcode in your request, and we will add this to your quote. There will be an additional charge to venues where parking is limited, and for larger cakes and set up.

How Do I Transport My Cake?

Your cake will be packed safely in a box upon collection.  The box must be placed on a flat surface.  The safest place to rest your cake box is in the center of your emptied boot. Please be sure to clear out your boot. It is not safe for the cake to be placed on the passenger seat or back seats whilst driving. It would be great to bring a nonslip mat to place under the box as extra protection.

I’ve seen the exact cake I want, can you make it?

Any cake ordered from a picture or photo of a cake produced elsewhere can only be reproduced by us as our interpretation of the cake and will not be a replica. Please be aware that copyright also protects some designs and, therefore, cannot be copied.

Can I freeze my leftover cake?

Yes, you can!  All of our cakes are made fresh, and they stay deliciously moist and tasty even when frozen. We do not recommend freezing any flavours with berries as the berries can go rancid upon defrosting. To freeze your cake, wrap in two layers of glad wrap and one layer of foil then pop into the freezer. When defrosting, we recommend taking your cake out of the freezer the day before and defrosting in the fridge to reduce condensation, making the cake soggy. We also recommend cutting the cake into smaller pieces before freezing, so you can enjoy bit by bit for months to follow.
